Some time in between the birth of his websites, however, Bill got this crazy idea. He quit the high tech world and played poker full time for about a year. It was in this year that he realized that (with his bankroll) poker was a real job... a 50 hour a week job that didn't pay a heck of a lot more than working at a decent shoe store. But he was happy and poker was his life for a while. Only one thing could lure him away from the grind... Real Estate. He founded HomeSplit.Com for those who desire affordable housing in the bay area, but the concept is just starting to really catch on with the hypnotized natives.
It was also Real Estate, or the lack of it, that prompted him to move to Belfast! As this is being written, Bill is preparing to move to Northern Ireland and become the Lord of the Dance. Or something. He'll still be playing poker. He'll still be writing about poker. He may even start working for one of the big online poker sites. But he'll also be enjoying the view, watching the foamy water wash off the craggy rocks, on the astounding northeastern Irish coastline.
After growing up and realizing that writers really do starve, Bill moved to the Silicon Valley and became a high tech guru, working with companies like DEC, AMD, and other three letter names. But in his heart, he still wanted to write. So he created a company called LinkDeath.Com and, being a high tech god, he put it on the earth-wide interweb!
LinkDeath.Com was a success, as Bill was hired to write for
non-profits, senators, and even psychics! Reassured that he
didn't totally suck, Bill launched his first educational poker
web site soon after! It was called PartyPokerTutor.Com and
he loved it like a son. A few years later, the sister website,
JoinTitanPoker.Com, was born, and he loved it like a daughter
Professional poker player for a year (Hold Em, Omaha H/L, HORSE).
