Bio
Born and raised in St. Louis, I finally moved to L.A. in
1999 to live life in the big city, and I could only be happier
now if my family would follow me. Most of my life, I held
desk jobs – administrative and accounting positions
– but never found satisfaction or joy in an office.
When I rolled the dice in 2006 on a freelance writing career,
I was happy to discover that I was talented, my work was recognized
and rewarded, and my dream to write for a living was becoming
a reality. My life is a roller coaster but a fun ride, nonetheless,
and I’m determined to stay on as long as possible!

Writing, poker, baseball (STL Cards!), music, liberal politics,
Vegas.
Writing
I began writing about poker during my employment at WPT by
volunteering to write gratis articles for the PR department
and player bios for their website. In April of 2006, I quit
my accounting job there and began freelancing as an editor
for American Poker Player Magazine and a writer for various
poker publications. My resume now includes articles in American
Poker Player, All In, Midwest Gaming & Travel, Southern
Gaming, Poker Life, Poker Pro, and even St. Louis Magazine.
I’ve written for www.PokerNews.com and www.PPTonline.com,
I ghostwrite articles for poker players, and I am working
on several book projects. And last but certainly not least,
I’m very proud to join the Wise Hand Poker team of writers!
