I’m going to get into the issue of cheating tomorrow, mostly because it’s come to the forefront this week. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out this thread over on 2+2:

The subject is Justin Bonomo, one of the online community’s prodigal sons. Three days ago, he was looked upon as a pillar of the poker community, now he’s public enemy #1. Not to excuse what he did, but Justin is taking a lot of flack for offenses that most people in the know are being committed by countless online professionals, and I’m not sure its entirely fair that he’s taking the beats from and for an entire community.
Better known as ZeeJustin, Bonomo cheated, but this is a shades of grey debate rooted in poker’s past and maintaining the competitive balance against players committing similar sins. Read that thread and you’re going to find that a 1700’s tradition, the witch hunt, is alive and well in the new millenium. When you finish the thread, check back here: It should take you about twenty hours, so the site will be updated by them. Have a good one,
Gary

It’s been a long day, meaning this is going to be a short entry. The infamous Tony G, he of the fastest mouth in poker, won the WPT’s Bad Boys of Poker 2, which was taped yesterday at the greatest cardroom on earth, the Commerce Casino in LA. Tony outlasted Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Gus Hansen, Jean Robert Bellande and Men “The Master” Nguyen to take the title and a free seat in the WPT World Championship.
Even Matusow was impressed, admitting afterwords that his mouth couldn’t hold a candle to the loud Aussie’s. BJ Nemeth did a great job blogging the event at:

Sounds like the event stayed more or less friendly, but it should still make for some great TV when it airs later this year. Have a good night and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Well, Saturday morning came and went before I exited my bed. Recovering from a night of debauchery, I stumbled out the door, went over to my computer, flicked on the TV and found myself heads up with none other than Cool Hand Luke. Is there a better way for a poker writer on a constant search for topic matter to start their day?
If you haven
