I've been traveling the tournament circuit for a long time but never have I traveled so much in such a short period of time. There were so many big tournaments in January and I played all that I could fit in. First going to The Bahmas for the Caribean Poker Classic, then to Australia, a short stop in Tunica and on to A.C. I just got back from the Borgata which has the best tournament structure. They gave us 30,000 in chips, so we had lots of play. I had no luck even with the slow structure, I couldn't survive. A great player, John Hennigan won. So, I am back in LA and getting ready to play events at the Commerce. When I first started playing tournaments there was only one tournament a year with a $10,000 buy-in and now there's a $10,000 tournament every month. I wanted to play the heads up event that starts tomorrow being hosted by Live at the Bike but I needed a break after traveling so much the last month. There's lots of great players in it and you can sign up to watch it at theBicyclecasino.com. I hope to write blogs in the future to discuss whats happening in the poker world and in the tournaments.
