A little over a week ago, I came home and noticed my Internet was not working. I figured the provider was down, but it wasn’t working after another day. We had to call the company and it ended up being our modem took a dive. I didn’t have the Internet for a whole week. For a young man like myself, that’s like being homeless for a week.
The problem was fixed this Friday, and I spent time yesterday catching up on my online poker. I played a cash game for a while. I got nothing for cards and lost ¾ of what I brought to the table. A little later I played two six-handed sit-n-goes. I did well in those finishing first and second. I now I have bankroll online to an all-time high. It isn’t anything real high, but I have almost tripled my original investment, so I am happy about that.
If you play pot-limit Omaha and don’t have much money, Full Tilt is probably the place for you. A while back I played a mixed cash game of pl Hold’em and Omaha and fell to too many two-outers and vowed to never play PLO ever again online. Well, a few weeks ago I got an itch for some PLO and played a $5 sit-n-go so it wouldn’t cost me much. I got down to four-handed and was in fourth by a decent amount; within five hands I had a huge lead. No one at my table seemed to have an idea of how to play Omaha. I don’t play the game much, but I understand what is a good hand. One person raised the pot preflop and everyone folded. This person then showed A-A with two rags and seemed to think it was the stone cold nuts in Omaha. I was in one of Full Tilt’s fantasy poker freerolls recently as well that was PLO. I saw the same confusion by the other players at my tables. However, that should somewhat be expected in a freeroll.
I am glad to have the Internet back, and now can get back to working on the project for this here site. Good luck at the tables!
