A Day That will Live In Infamy

Today is the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. It's an anniversary that many would like to forget due to the tremendous loss of life families in this country suffered. Not only for the loss of life, but also for the interment camps set up by the government after.

So many young people do not know the devastation to America that happened that day. The movies do not come close to telling or showing the true horrific events of the day.

The only movie that really shows the pain of the war is "Saving Private Ryan". Its not about Pearl Harbor, but it does grafficaly show what our men in the armed forces went through during WW11.

On this day Mr. Reese was laid to rest not only are our thoughts and prayers with the Reese family and friends, but with the men and women who have served this nation so honorably and gave their lives doing it.

On a side note on our way home from Vegas last night, we ran into the front of the storm blowing in and the rain and sleet and wind were unbelievable. I made it home about 11:30pm pst and went straight to bed because 3:30 came early. I was in briefing by 5;00 am and thank goodness for those "one shots" of caffeine 7-11 has to put in your coffee.

It was a great trip to Vegas and I am looking forward now to the LAPC in January at Commerce. In the meantime I will be playing in the Player Appreciation Tournament at the Bike on Sunday and then taking a break just as my game was getting on track. There are not any tournaments other than the nightly fifty dollar ones until the LAPC.

Take Care all, do yourself a favor tonite and kiss and hug your loved ones before you go to sleep.
