Hey is anyone out there?

I have been hoping the redesign of the site here was coming soon. I know Gary has been super busy lately and we talked last week and he told me there would be some upgrades coming to the site.

I have not been playing any live Poker for over two weeks now. My bank roll I had built up this year was depleted when some family issues arose and some dental work i have had over the past few months so my 9,000.00 for tournament play is gone and once things settle down around the Diamond household, I will be back.

The California State Championships start at Commerce in two weeks. As I have said before, Commerce runs a lot of satellites and I am going to try and play a few. The Bike which I consider my home Casino also runs satellites however the Legends series starts the Events at 3:15 every day and there satellites are not getting a lot of attention from the local players so, they are few and far between. I do not get off of work until 3:00 pm so its difficult for me to get there to play a few.

I did however play a few tournaments on-line at Poker Stars this week. Actually they were 180 player sit n go’s at $27.00 each. The other was a 22.00 45 player sng. I took fourth in the 180 player after taking a bad beat as I call it when my KK lost an all in call pre flop to 76, when he flopped two pair. I took 150.00 dollars for my 4 hour effort.

The 45 player sng I won it out right for a nice 270.00 or so but since those two I have lost 100.00 playing in some tournaments at Poker Stars and just cannot get anything going. Its like PS let me get a little cash on-line and now its sucking it all back from me.

Work has been very busy lately. I think the heat brings out all the less fortunate in LA and they have to survive, so instead of working like most of us, they decide to take what we have worked for by force or fear and leave so many of us upset with the system and frustrated at starting over again.

Thugs and mentally challenged people seem to multiply here in LA and its a never ending battle trying to prevent these people from committing these crimes. The jails are full, the mental facilities are few and it takes all day to get one admitted, so they are basically ignored by most Law Enforcement people unless they commit a serious crime, which many do!

I hope to be back playing soon, I miss the tournaments and they relaxation it brings me when I play. The frustration of losing is bad at times but it does not compare to the frustration of my real job and Poker has actually given me an out from my daily grind and I am addicted to it!!

I have the ability to make money and thank goodness for that, so I will be back at the tables soon and hopefully still able to share my Poker stories amongst other things with you..

Take care… Be Safe…

PS played another 180 person satellite today,$22.00 buy in I won it…$1040.00 bout time…thanks all…
