Arguably one of the toughest final tables ever assembled,
Howard Lederer, Layne Flack, Andy Bloch, Phil Ivey, Pete Giordano
and Ron Rose battled it out at Foxwoods Resorts and Casino
on November 17th 2002.
89 players signed up for the $10,000 buy in event creating
a prize pool of $915,000, with first taking home $320,000.
13 current and future bracelets were represented at the table
and viewers were witness to the world class poker that was
on display.
In the end it was Howard Lederer that would walk away the
newest World Poker Tour Champion, brilliantly combining great
reads, skillful play and a good run of cards to take down
the victory.
